For those whom the world has forgotten.

You can't recall purchasing a ticket. You're not entirely certain of your destination. The train also seems to know more about you than you do, for some reason.

Welcome to WAYWARD, a multiplayer story-driven adventure about unusual things we leave behind, forgotten places, and unlikely connections.

Explore a strange universe where time doesn't always function as it should and where there is a story to be found at each stop. Discover peaceful towns, interact with curious strangers, solve environmental puzzles, and uncover the mysteries of a journey that may not have been as coincidental as it seems.

However, this train is unique. Not every passenger can recall their arrival. The rest of the world seems to have forgotten about these locations. Additionally, it gets more difficult to discern whether you're remembering something you lost or learning something new the farther you travel.

What is in store for you:

-Together, go exploring. Journey through unique settings with mysteries and hidden details, either alone or with companions.

-Get to know memorable characters. Discover a cast of travelers and residents, each with their own backstories, secrets, and motivations for coming.

-Discover the unknown. Find connections between the locations you visit, solve puzzles, and look into odd happenings.

-Make thoughtful decisions. The trip includes your decisions and interactions, and sometimes the smallest acts of kindness have the greatest impact.

-Explore a world that has a life of its own. Discover beautiful moments of wonder, unique 2D environments, and the occasional unnerving surprise.

WAYWARD is full of things that aren't quite what they appear, as well as somewhat whimsical and gloomy. You don't have to hurry. Take your time, get a closer look, and follow the tracks.

Ultimately, the path had been determined long before you got there.
